When i felt a flutter in my stomach that wasn't flies.
When I journeyed across nebulas in conversation losing and slowing time.
When i described you with words that homer, frost, and poe never wrote in their lines.
When I broke walls, climbed mountains, fought giants, crossed oceans for you to be mine.
The hardest battle, the farthest reach of space, the words no dictionary held, the bottle, the beer, the mead, the wine was the strongest bind.
Your passing and my acceptance is the root to a new growth of vine.
I'm a survivor this is me.
I'm a teacher this is me.
I'm a guide this is me.
I'm a storyteller this is me.
I'm a healer this is me.
I'm all of this because you healed me.
